GE 1 Bench by Hans Wegner for Getama, 1954.

Designed by Hans Wegner in 1954, the GE 1 bench, daybed, chaise, and footstool all in one, is a stylish, and hugely versatile piece of furniture. One side adjusts to create a backrest or can be lowered for flat bench seating, and the third section can be separated for use as a footstool or further seating.

Crafted in solid oak with a range of finishes to suit you, this bench is hand built at GETAMA’s factory in Gedsted, Denmark by skilled cabinetmakers using traditional Scandinavian techniques.

Finishes

Available in untreated oak, lacquered oak, oiled oak, soaped oak, and stained oak.

The GE1 bench is available in fabric or leather. The prices here are for fabrics in Group 1. Further fabrics can be quoted for at time of ordering, just contact us.

To cover the bench with fabric supplied by the customer you will require 2.5m
